Occupational immunisations are also important to consider where safety concerns for staff who are likely to be exposed to particular diseases. Exposure is key to immunity, and when the body comes across a new disease causing agent chances are that an infection can take place. Where potentially harmful diseases are involved, it is extremely important to immunise employees and prevent an outbreak that spread amongst staff.
Fusion can provide a full range of flu vaccines and immunisation for employees across the UK. Our vaccinations and immunity can be offered at your workplace done by a registered clinician or employees can be offered a voucher which can be redeemed at a variety of partner chemists across the UK. Flu Vaccines
Flu vaccinations in the workplace are the most cost-effective method of protecting your employees from the annual influx of winter flu. The best time to have a flu vaccine is in the autumn, starting from the beginning of October through to the end of January. Seasonal flu is typically seen in the UK between December and March; however, outbreaks can be seen as early as October and as late as May. As we are all aware the demand for flu vaccinations has risen considerably since the COVID19 pandemic in 2020 so demand can be high, get your orders in early to avoid disappointment.
Flu Vaccines what we offer
We offer two options of flu vaccine delivery within the workplace. Flu vaccinations in the workplace are done by a qualified clinician on a date and time to suit you. Flu Vouchers are available to purchase and can be redeemed at a nationwide partner chemist. We would always try and encourage a workplace flu vaccination programme to ensure all staff are vaccinated but Flu Vouchers are ideal for those employees who are not always able to attend an on-site vaccination clinic. The voucher scheme enables employees to visit over 2500 pharmacies and clinics and get their annual flu vaccine in exchange for a flu voucher.
